Professor David Oborne is Emeritus
Professor of Psychology at the University of Wales Swansea. He is
a Fellow of both the British Psychological Society and the Ergonomics
Society.
He has produced over 12 books on aspects of ergonomics and HCI
and has written many articles/chapters in books and learned journals.
Professor Oborne has undertaken extensive work with the European Union,
both as a regular auditor/evaluator and in research. He has been the prime/lead
contractor for EU-funded projects dealing with:
psychological aspects of teleworking
training programmes for trainers and managers employing disabled people
as teleworkers.
web-based support systems for teleworkers.
remote multimedia interviewing systems.
online training courses for managers.
an information gateway for South Wales.
organisational change in small companies following the introduction
of IT.
