Professor David Oborne is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at the University of Wales Swansea. He is a Fellow of both the British Psychological Society and the Ergonomics Society. He has produced over 12 books on aspects of ergonomics and HCI and has written many articles/chapters in books and learned journals. |
Professor Oborne has undertaken extensive work with the European Union, both as a regular auditor/evaluator and in research. He has been the prime/lead contractor for EU-funded projects dealing with:
- psychological aspects of teleworking
- training programmes for trainers and managers employing disabled people as teleworkers.
- web-based support systems for teleworkers.
- remote multimedia interviewing systems.
- online training courses for managers.
- an information gateway for South Wales.
- organisational change in small companies following the introduction of IT.
